Lilli Mittner
Associate Professor
Job description
In my research, I explore space-time-matter cuts, human and more-than-human thought and creations, and artful relations in the Arctic and beyond. I am specifically interested in feminist theories and how they connect to sound and music, cultural transfer, education, gender equality, sustainability, connectivity, co-creativity, dementia, environmental issues, and other planetary concerns. I address those questions by using a combination of methods such as archival studies, content analysis, multimodal analysis, aesthetic analysis, diffractive analysis, discourse analysis, policy analysis, quantitative surveys, statistics, qualitative interviews, focus group interviews, ethnographic fieldwork, and situated art intervention.
