    Research interests

My research focus on seasonal rhythms in high arctic fish, with particular emphasis on reproduction and parr smolt transformation in salmoids and how such rhythms are affected by seasonal changes in photoperiod and temperature. Studies are undertaken both under experimental conditions and in the field.

My research interests also include studies on pain perception in fish, using atlantic cod as a model.
