    Research interests

    Risk communication, Risk decision-making, Contemporary security issues (Environmental-politics, Climate security, migration, humanitarian aid) Sustainability, Emergency preparedness and Crisis collaboration. 

    Primary research interest include:

    • Assessing risk communication strateges in conflict and disaster prone areas 
    • Assessing the correlation between disaster management and climate- induced security threats
    • Assessing the Impacts of  discourses (climate change among other risks) on risk perception, communication and governance. 

    Teaching

    Design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to "Risk management and societal security"
