Associate Professor / Earth Observation

Job description

My research group integrates field observations, remote sensing, and numerical modelling to study Arctic sea ice and its role in global climate. We primarily use satellite radar and laser altimeter sensors to observe the changing thickness of Arctic sea ice and its overlying snow cover. Our work targets innovative methods for processing satellite altimetry observations to enable new sea ice measurements, as well as the application of altimetry datasets for climate studies.
