The faculty has approximately 500 employees and 3000 students at campuses in Tromsø, Alta, Harstad and Narvik. At our campus in Tromsø the faculty is located in the NFH-building, the Biology building, the School of Business and Economics building, the Arctic Biology-building and premises at the Science Park are at its disposal. Further, the faculty has three research vessel; RV Kronprins Haakon, RV Helmer Hanssen, and RV Hyas.  

The Faculty Board is the top organ of the faculty. The daily work at the faculty is managed by the Dean and Faculty Director.
