At the department we have six research groups which conduct both fundamental and applied research. These research groups are also directly involved in the education of students for a wide range of diciplines. The research groups are involved in several major projects financed by The Research Council of Norway (Norges forskningsråd), European Research Council and other sources.
We have 12 projects at our unit:
The MASSIMAL dataset: High-resolution UAV hyperspectral images of shallow-water habitats with ground truth observations and annotations
A Configurable Software Model of a Self-Adaptive Robotic System
Impact of varying solar angles on Arctic iceberg area retrieval from Sentinel-2 near-infrared data.
Single-shot quantitative differential phase contrast microscope using a single calcite beam displacer
The Growth and Decay of Intense GNSS Amplitude and Phase Scintillation During Non‐Storm Conditions
