The department is run by Head of Department and leader support. In addition, the department has a managing team consisting of the head of each discipline.

Administrative services are given by the Unit for Department administration. This unit takes care of cases like student contact, education and exams. In addition, they provide leader support both to head of departments and head of the disciplines. 

The department's safety delegate is Hege Olaussen (deputy: Merete Andersen).
