The Department has approximately 45 employees, half of these are permanent staff, while the rest are temporary lecturers, Post-Doctoral Fellows, Doctoral Research Fellows, as well as 4 administrative staff. We offer BA, MA and PhD degrees in philosophy. The department also teaches the courses Examen philosophicum and Examen facultatum, which are compulsory for all bachelor students in Norway.
