Research interests
My research primarily involve municipal healthcare service, including rehabilitation and proactive services, mainly based on action research, co-creation, and other qualitative approaches. I am particularly interested in interprofessional collaboration and teamwork, and my research often explores the intersection between welfare services and volunteerism, emphasizing co-creation and social innovation across sectors, organizations, and professions. My work is strongly rooted in an Arctic and rural context, where cultural and contextual adaptation of services is central. I have a particular interest in the development and implementation of healthcare services for rehabilitation patients and home-dwelling older citizens, aiming to promote sustainable and user-centered solutions.
