Igor Ezau
Job description
I am a professor at UiT working with meteorology and climate in the Renewable Energy Group. My research interest are tightly linked to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG-7 Energy; SDG-11 Sustainable Cities; and SDG-13 Climate Actions. My current research focuses on diversity of local climates - the climate of the planetary boundary layer, urban climate issues, socio-environmental interactions in aspects related to atmospheric processes and phenomena.
Research interests
My research interests encompas a broad field of planetary boundary layers, turbulence, fine-scale meteorological and process modeling. I am working with cross- and multi-disciplinary research topics across turbulence theory, modeling issues, urban and climate studies with application to sustainability, sustainable development goals, and further towards environmental digital twin modeling for urban planning and energy infrastructure.
