Job description

Konstantinos is a PhD Fellow - Researcher at the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS), focusing on shipping, enviornmetal protection of marine ecosystems, the ecosystem approach, and the Arctic. 

Konstantinos studied law in the Democritus University of Thrace and holds two master's degrees, one in Public International Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and one in the Law of the Sea from UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. He has worked as a lawyer in Greece and is a member of the Athens Bar Association. He has also completed the BlueBook traineeship in the European Union Commision Directorare General on Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and an internship at the International Maritime Organization. He started working in the PhD programme of UiT within NCLOS in April 2022. His doctorate thesis is titled "The Implementation of the Ecosystem Approach in Shipping: Norwegian Practice and Prospectives".
