Northern Homes 21 is a University of Tromsø research programme to enhance the quality of life for the inhabitants of reconstruction homes in northern Norway and their communities. The initial research project explores integrating renewable energy sources as part of the refurbishment of reconstruction houses while addressing sustainability from a societal, cultural, diverse heritages, environmental, technological and economic perspective. Scientists, engineers, polar historians, heritage scholars and other social scientists are encouraged to attend this session to gain information, establish and enhance their networks, and explore future collaborations.
