Work environment
The work environment concerns the work itself, and how one organizes, plans, and carries out the work.
UiT´s empoyees are responsible for creating a satisfactory and sound working environment around you. Through a set of common rules of conduct we define a standard with respect to how we interact with each other and with respect to what is expected of each an one of us.
Waste management at UiT
At UiT, many different types of waste are produced. Theses shall be handled in different ways. Waste such as food waste, paper, beverage cartons, plastic waste, glass and metal, must be sorted at the source. Hazardous waste, such as chemical waste, radioactive waste, hazardous and infectious waste and batteries, must be handled according to UiTs guidelines for hazardous waste.
