My name is Yoann and I realized an exchange semester in Narvik from August to December 2023.

I didn't know when planning this semester that it would become the best period of my life.

Whether it was the gorgeous landscapes, the heartwarming people, the northern lights or the atmosphere, everything was truly exceptional back there.

I had the opportunity to plan a lot of trips which included wild camping and hiking in the Lofoten islands or discovering famous Scandinavian cities as Tromsø or Stockholm and those experiences definitely changed me.

I also had the chance to meet amazing people from all around the world, not knowing some of them would become really close friends.

Finally, UiT really put an effort to integrate international students and I didn't feel left out at all. So if you are looking for new adventures, welcoming people and an unforgivable experience, UiT is made for you.
