My exchange semester in Tromsø changed my life for the better in many ways.

I have always been quite anxious, especially when it came to new experiences. But leaving home to study in such a wonderful place, with its mountainous, snow-covered landscape, glowing auroras and the incredible alternation of near-constant day and near-constant night, has awakened in me a new sense of adventure and a new appreciation for the beauty of our world.

I've been able to make new friends and use the quiet that winter brings in this place to reflect on myself and my life so far.

I really appreciate how much work the exchange team and Student Welfare Organisation put into the arrival, integration and social interaction of the students in Tromsø. The structure of my studies gave me more than enough time to do all the activities I wanted to do while completing the full number of courses, and I was able to get to know my professors and learn a lot from them.

This exchange semester helped me grow academically, socially and personally. I am very glad that I made the decision to go to Tromsø and I am very grateful to the people who supported me during my journey to this wonderful place.
