The Academic Line

The Academic Line is a creative research project that uses humour and comics to explore the everyday realities of academic life. By playfully highlighting its norms, tensions, and contradictions, the project encourages critical reflection, fosters dialogue, and invites academics to see their work and identities from fresh, often unexpected perspectives.

Started in 2023 as a critical participatory action research project, The Academic Line has evolved into a broader movement aimed at enhancing academics’ well-being. Its activities and results are shared through multiple channels, including a scientific journal, social media (Facebook), and a dedicated webpage.
