LINC Hosts Trauma-Informed Approaches Workshop in Tromsø

On November 11, 2025, the LINC project hosted a well-attended workshop on trauma-informed approaches to teaching and research with displaced and war-affected communities.

Led by Anna Lenchovska, a Ukrainian psychologist specializing in trauma-informed education and research, the workshop addressed an important gap in working with populations who may have been exposed to traumatic events. Across three practical sessions, participants explored trauma-informed teaching, trauma-informed research, and strategies for self-care and burnout prevention.

The workshop was highly informative and brought together faculty, students, practitioners, and community partners for valuable discussion and reflection on supporting learning, communication, and participation in sensitive contexts.
