ArcEcoGen - SummerTrip to Steindalsbreen

Onm the 17th of June 2026, the ArcEcoGen group - which the FrommLab is officially part of, made their summer trip to Steindalsbreen, one of the few glaciers close to Tromsø. On their way up to the glacier, Inger G. Alsos (projectleader) updated all participants with accurate names of all important plants (picutre: Inger and Linnea)

More than 20 group members joined on this trip, including collaborator Anders Schomaker (picture below) from geology at the main campus, who gave an impressive tour to this geologically very interesting spot in Nature.

Arriving at the impressive glacier gave an opportunity to appreciate the dramatic decline in size and the rough landscape.
