The Read/Play/Write project explores possible uses of simple table-top role-playing games for literature and history education.
Read/Play/Write is coordinated by Zoheb Mashiur and funded through UiT's PUK programme (2027-28). Through a series of workshops we will adapt and then test simple off-the-shelf TTRPGs to uses in literature education at upper-secondary level. Beta versions will be tested by teachers at Kvaløya VGS and in teacher education at UiT before finalized versions will be made available to the public through an open access database.
The R/P/W-project is an initiative of the Tromsø Games Lab working group of the ENCODE research group. The project is facilitated by the CRAFT research lab and supported by NFH and ISK.
