EISCAT Peer Review Time
https://eiscat.se/news/eiscat-peer-reviewed-program-experiments-3/
Deadline: 1 November, 2022.
Twice a year the EISCAT association announces an open call for any scientist from non-EISCAT member countries to apply for time to use the EISCAT radars. This is a separate pot of time to the national Norwegian allocated time but can be applied for by Norwegian scientists also. This a great opportunity for collaborators in non-EISCAT countries to submit a proposal to work with the radars. Please do spread the word and either consider applying yourself, or encourage a collaborator to do so.
All applications are assessed by the EISCAT Science Advisory Committee (SAC)
Submission for a given deadline implies that the observations are requested to be initially scheduled during the 6 month period which starts in 1 or 2 months after the respective deadline. Please, note that in general EISCAT experiments for a given month are scheduled by the 10th of the preceding month.
This means that time requested would most likely be for the current radar systems, not EISCAT 3D.
Kind regards,
Lisa
