The UiT Writing Centre is a service for all the UiT students on all campuses.
We give feedback to students on all levels in academic writing.

Solveig Kavli
Solveig is the project manager of the Writing Centre. She is an experienced supervisor in academic writing and has been tutoring students on all levels in information literacy and academic writing since 2005; First at UiB, then at HVL.
Her background is from the Arts anf Humanities and she helds a cand.philol. from History of Religions (UiB, 2001). She has worked as a research librarian since 2003 and has dedicated her work in academic writing and use of sources. Solveig is one of the founding mothers of Search & Write and the former leader of the HVL writing centre in Bergen.

Aurora Martine Waaktaar
Aurora is 23 and comes from Bardufoss. She helds a BA in English language and literature from UiT and is currently doing a MA in English literature. In addition she also is working on a BA in bioengineering. She tutors students on BA and MA-level in academic writing.

Hannah Amanda Lyche
Hannah is 27 years old and comes from Harstad. She has studied psychology and also did a year on law studies . Hanna is now on doing her MA in the teacher education 8–13 with the main subjects English and history. She tutors students on BA and MA-level in academic writing.

Tarjei Andersen
Tarjei is 26 years old and comes from Øksnes. He holds a BA in Political Science and is now doing an MA in the same subject . He tutors students on BA and MA-level in academic writing.

Viktor Karlsen Hessen
Viktor is 25 years old and comes from Harstad. He helds a BA in English language and literature from UiT and is currently doing a MA in English literature. He tutors students on BA and MA-level in academic writing.
