30.08.21: COVID-19 outbreak, UiT in Tromsø
We have today been notified that six students have been confirmed infected with COVID-19. The infection tracking team has contacted close contacts in Tromsø municipality.
As a result of the outbreak, there will be digital teaching in the following studies:
- Mathematics (MAT-1001)
- Informatics (INF-1049)
Students at these courses will be notifies specifically via Canvas.
We ask that everyone has a low threshold to test themselves, stay at home even with mild symptoms, avoid gatherings in large groups and wear a face mask if one cannot comply with the 1-meter rule.
