The cross-disciplinary nature of the programme allowed me to discuss differing knowledge systems in a human rights context.
In the MIS programme I got to write exactly about the topic I wanted to. The cross-disciplinary nature of the programme suited me well, as that allowed me to discuss differing knowledge systems in a human rights context. Looking into what is officially “recognised” and valued and considering how that is manifested in practice was the rope that tied my thesis together.
Since graduation I’ve been working with different projects and processes related to indigenous knowledge and rights.
