Wilsons group develop analytical tools and instrumentation to aid the diagnosis and understanding of diseases and disorders. Their specialty is measuring of metabolites and proteins in small samples, using fast and automated systems, primarily based on nano liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
Wilson is currently also focusing on technologies related to organoids, organ-on-a-chip and microfluidics and is a PI of research environments as DIATECH@UiO, CHIP and the SFF center Hybrid Technology Hub.
The key to their successful research profile has been to focus on multidisciplinary collaborations.
In this talk he will elaborate on some developing technologies and how utilizing them may facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships.
