3rd UiT miljøhumaniora / Environmental Humanities interest group meeting

We invite you to kickstart the autumn semester 2021 by joining the 3rd informal UiT miljøhumaniora / Environmental Humanities meeting!

Meeting Agenda:

  • The Anthropocene - What lies behind, around and in front of (the notion that defines) our time? A short presentation (20min) by Professor Jennifer Clare Heyward and Førsteamanuensis Justin Parks followed by a discussion on the topic (40min).
  • Possibilities for a 'Countermapping Tromsø' project. Brainstorming session moderated by Filip Maric, with contributions from Anatolijs Venovcevs (60min, incl. planning for our next session).

If you cannot attend the meeting, but would like to stay informed about all things UiT Miljøhumaniora / Environmental Humanities, please send a brief email to Filip Maric filip.maric@uit.no and I will add you to the mailing list.

OBS! We are using a registration form to estimate the kind of room we might need to book for the meeting. We will be in touch to confirm the final location depending on registration numbers and new COVID regulations as they come out.
