The Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS) is pleased to announce the upcoming in-person workshop ‘Innovating for Change in Global Fisheries Governance’.

The event is co-organized by Ass Prof Eva van der Marel (UiT), Dr Mercedes Rosello (Lincoln University, UK), and Dr Camille Goodman (Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS), University of Wollongong, Australia).

This workshop builds on a previous workshop with the same title, held in Tromsø in September 2016, the proceedings of which were published in a special section of the Marine Policy journal (Volume 84, 2017). The aim is to bring together scholars and practitioners from different disciplines to discuss the most recent legal, scientific, technical, and economic developments in sustainable fisheries, with the emphasis on identifying innovative solutions.
