Critical Race Theory (CRT) is an academic conceptual framework that examines how race and racism intersect with other forms of social stratification, such as class, gender, and law. It challenges traditional legal and societal norms by emphasizing that racism is not just an individual bias but a systemic issue embedded in laws, institutions, and culture. CRT also seeks to elevate the voices and experiences of marginalized communities to better understand and address racial inequality.
