The University Library in Alta has 23 workstations on the library premises. The reading area is generally quiet, but some noise may still occur as the workstations are surrounded by the library’s book collection.
You can easily contact the library using chat, the Service Portal (TOPdesk) or e-mail. We also offer a number of specialised support services via the Service Portal.
The chat service Ask the library! is open weekdays from 08.00–15.45. Click on the orange circle in the bottom right-hand corner of the University Library website to open the chat.
Other support services
To send a message to our other support services in the Service Portal (TOPdesk) you must be a UiT employee or student and log in using your Feide ID and password. Send us an e-mail if you are an external user.
