The Culture and Social Sciences Library has six group rooms available to users, two on the ground floor, three on the first floor and one on the second floor.

Log in to reserve a room on the room booking page. Select building (Universitetsbibliotekbygget), time and room type Group room. All our group rooms booked in Room Booking must be confirmed by scanning a QR code when the room is taken into use. Check-in can take place up to 15 minutes before the reservation time. If the QR code is not scanned, the room will be canceled after 15 minutes. You will receive notifications via email.

The library offers many workstations, but there are no quiet reading areas. We recommend that those who need a more quiet place to work use the second floor of the library or the quiet reading area at the Psychology and Law Library.

Charge Hub - refill of light and electricity!

Stop by the Charge Hub at the library for a better start to your day during the polar nights. The Charge Hub is in the corner of the ground floor. Here you can use our daylight lamps and charge your electronics at the same time. The corner also has computer workstations, docking stations, and a login option for guests.

The use of daylight lamps can contribute to a better circadian rhythm, more energy and a brighter start to the day. The daylight lamps are available October – April. Drop-in – no registration.
