Exchanges at the Faculty of Fine Arts

Internationalisation is a priority area at UiT involving students, researchers and other employees. Internationalisation means exchanging knowledge and information across international borders.

General info about exchanges

Music

A key aim of internationalisation is to get students and artistic, academic and other employees to travel abroad on an exchange using international cooperation agreements. Internationalisation also involves artistic, academic and pedagogical cooperation in joint projects.

The Faculty of Fine Arts has a number of agreements with European countries through the programme Nordplus (see the Nordplusmusic and KUNO networks below). The faculty also has bilateral agreements with institutions in Russia, South Africa, China and Guatemala.

UiT’s open agreements cover exchange programmes such as North2North, NORDPLUS Nordlys, Barentsplus and various bilateral agreements. Most of these are accessible to all disciplines.

Internationalisation also involves developing more English-taught courses and programmes of study, admitting more international students and developing an international environment and international competence among employees and students at UiT.
