I have an LLM in international treaty interpretation and law of the sea, and an MA in performance art and theory.

I am a non-practicing member of the Alberta Law Society, having practiced in the areas of Canadian natural resource, Canadian / Indigenous, and human rights law.

I am formerly the Humanities Editor at Broadview Press (Canada).

I have taught in the areas of EU energy law, Arctic institutions, Canadian legal skills, cultural & literary theory, and literature in English.
