Linda has a keen interest in dissemination and engages in various lectures, workshops, in addition to teaching for students in the professional psychology program. She is also a certified instructor in FIT through the International Centre for Clinical Excellence (ICCE FIT Trainer Certificate).

Research interests
Linda Svorken has a PhD project that evaluates the use of feedback tools in Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) as part of regular treatment for children and youth in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (BUP) and the Low-Threshold Team (Lavterskelteamet) in Tromsø. The project combines qualitative and quantitative methods, with a focus on children and youths' own experiences gathered through individual, semi-structured interviews.
The main supervisor for the PhD project is Associate Professor and Psychologist Specialist Toril Sørheim Nilsen at UiT, Department of Psychology. Co-supervisors are Professor Geir Fagerjord Lorem at UiT, Department of Psychology, and PhD and Psychologist Specialist Børge I. Mathiassen at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department (BUPA) at UNN in Tromsø.
Teaching
Teaching is not part of the PhD position at UiT.
Due to specific expertise in Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) and Deliberate Practice, she conducts workshops and teaches on these topics in the professional psychology program. She also serves as a seminar teacher for qualitative methods for psychology students.
