JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marit Melbye Sørensen is currently pursuing a PhD in biophysical chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy at UiT as a part of the Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Research Group. The research is focused on developing native bacterial membrane models for studying drug-target binding interactions by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and other analytical techniques.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

  1. Interaction studies by NMR Spectroscopy
  2. Method development for determining binding affinities by NMR
  3. Bacterial Extracellular Vesicles and Lipid Nanoparticles
