    Research interests

    My research is focusing on:

    • Green chemistry
    • Homogeneous catalysis
    • Organic synthesis

    Over the past decades, homogeneous catalysis has shaped the modern organic synthesis. Many industrial processes are now based on catalytic transformations. Our mission is the design and invention of active sustainable homogeneous catalysts suitable for chemical transformations of industrial importance. 

    We have an ongoing project on the design of renewable phosphine ligands, which can be used for Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. Applications from highly motivated students to join the group for a BSc or MSc thesis in the topics of our research interests are welcome.
