Oddbjørn Løndal
Job description
Univercity lecturer in mental health science. From January 2014 until today Løndal has been a part of the leading team for Incredible Years in Norway (De Utrolige Årene(DUÅ), - in the role of administrative leadership. More information. Ha had leave from those tasks in 2020 and 2021. In the period January 2014 - Desember 2019 he also was a part of RKBU North's (UiT) leaderteam.
Lønsdal is doing eduacation, supervising and certification of group leaders in schools, classrooms, kindergartens, mental helth clinics, child welfare service, maternal and child helth centre, etc. (See homepage and Facebook page). Løndal is part of several international network for people working with implementation of IY-programs; e.g.: Erasmus+ 2017-2020. He's also part of several Research Groups around research on IY (DUÅ) programs in Norway.
Løndal is leader for the Norwegian part of an EEA Grant project in The Czech Republic, where the aim is implementing and research on the parent training program Triple P. The project period is 2019 - 2024. Løndal is also involved in piloting the new European non-profit parenting project Invest in Play (IIP) and is a member of the steering committee for IIP in Norway, representing RKBU Nord, UiT, and participates in decisions related to the testing and evaluation of the initiative in Norway is a permanent member of the international network, the International Forum for Implementation and Research on Evidence-Based Interventions for Children.
Løndal was a member of the organizing committee for the Norwegian Children and Youth Congress 2024 and is member also for the congress in 2026. This is a national congress for the fields working with children and youth mental health and child welfare. Information about the Children and Youth Congress 2024
