Job description

I am a researcher at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in a two-year project exploring how psychosocial support (PSS) for students and peer support for teachers can strengthen wellbeing and coping in contexts affected by conflict and displacement. The research focuses on the Better Learning Program (BLP), implemented by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), and employs mixed-methods approaches with (online) fieldwork in Palestine, Ukraine, and Norway.

My PhD research examined how teachers and psychosocial counselors implemented school-based PSS for refugee children in Lebanon, with a particular focus on BLP following the Beirut Port Blast.
