Job description

Arctic Marine Geology and Geophysics under the DYPOLE project.

Research interests

My research interests are related to sedimentary processes and paleoenvironmental reconstruction of continental margins at high latitudes.

At present, I investigate the Barents Sea-Svalbard margin including studies of contourite drifts and trough mouth fans that evolved over the last ~20 Ma. The main method applied is seismic interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data. I integrate these data with scientific wellbore data from ODP expeditions, including data from the ODP sites 910-912.
