Job description

The main focus of my work in managing the research data that our team collects during execution of Arctic ABC, Deep Impact and other projects. The data comes from a variety of sources: from land-based observatories, instruments moored below the sea surface and from ice-tethered drifting autonomous observatories.

I am responsible for ArcLight observatory (a light observatory located near Ny-Ålesund in Svalbard), it's day-to-day operation, maintenance, and further improvement.

I take part in research cruises, fieldworks and deployments of scientific instruments in the Arctic.
