INBOUND EXCHANGE STUDENTS: HOW TO APPLY

HOW TO APPLY FOR EXCHANGE (IMPORTANT !)
You are allowed to apply for exchange at UiT if (1) you are electronically nominated on a valid agreement by your home university and (2) have received an invitation email from UiT to apply.
If you are not sure about your nomination to UiT or your exchange programme, please send an email to mobility@uit.no.

Erasmus+ exchange students are from European universities participating in the Erasmus+ programme.

Bilateral exchange students are from mostly universities or colleges outside Europe (Australia, Japan, New Zealand South Korea, US) or British universities.

North2North is an exchange programme with selected universities and colleges throughout Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.

Project-based exchange students are usually nominated and receive scholarships through one of the following programmes: Erasmus+ Global (non-European universities), EURASIA (universities from the Eurasia region), INTPART (International Partnerships for Excellent Education, Research and Innovation), NORHED (universities from developping countries), NORPART (Norwegian Partnership for Global Academic Cooperation) NOTED (Norwegian Partnership for International Teacher Education) & UTFORSK (Cooperation with universities in Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, and the USA).

The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) is not an accredited institution, and as such exchange students from universities that have a formal agreement with UiT The Arctic University of Norway, can apply to UNIS for courses and research and be registered as a student at UiT after being accepted by UNIS.

- Apply to UiT
