Libraries, Archives and Museums (LAM) for Sustainable Development
About the course
This course may be taken as an elective by students enrolled in MA programme in media and documentation science. It may be taken as an elective course within other MA programme at UiT and by international students at UiT that hold a BA degree or equivalent degree, in the social sciences, humanities, and education.
The course provides theoretical and practical understanding about the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the important role of libraries, archives, and the museums in sustainable thinking and participation in both local and global community efforts.
Admission requirements
A bachelor's degree, or equivalent degree, in the humanities.

The following coursework requirements must be completed and approved to take the home exam.
- 80% presence in lectures and workshops
- Oral presentation of the term paper project in class (approx. 10 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion, which includes 2-page written project overview)
