Funding Deadline EPINOR 15. February 
Do you know about a PhD cours ein Norway or abroad that you would like to join? Do you have a plan to go on a research stay? Do you have a innovative idea for an event for you and your fellow students? Apply for funding before 15.February. Next deadline is 15th April 2020! 

Why should you apply for funding?
So far EPINOR has given finacial support to over 70 different courses since 2014. No reason to not use the opportunity to go out and get a course that will lift your PhD process, both socially and scientifically. See the list of courses we have sent students to here. The students have also given us their review of the courses they attended. See their stories here (scroll down and you will find different stories from students).  
  

Olena.Iakunchykova: On June 17 – June 16, 2019, I had the opportunity to visit London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and attend the Short Course “Statistical analysis with missing data using multiple imputation and inverse probability weighting”. This course was a nice birthday present from EPINOR.

 
One week’s course of the 32nd Residential 3-week Summer Course in Epidemiology
Lin Jiang: On July 1 – June 5, 2019, I was lucky to attend the third course week of the 32nd Residential 3-week Summer Course in Epidemiology in Centro Studi, Tuscany, Italy. My two select topics were ‘Causal methods in epidemiology: Mendelian randomization and triangulation’ and ‘Advanced topics in epidemiology’. Thank for EPINOR supporting me to attend the courses.
 

Kristin Hestmann Vinjerui: I am on a joint PhD program between Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU and the Australian National University, ANU. As a mandatory part of the program, I spent close to 8 months in Canberra, from July 2018 – February 2019.

 
PSY-8006: Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling at NTNU, Trondheim
Anders Årnes: From Monday 3rd to Friday 7th June I participated in the PhD-level course ‘Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling’ at NTNU, Trondheim, supported by a grant from EPINOR.

 

My research stay in North Carolina, USA
Liv Grimstvedt Kvalvik: In the summer of 2018 my family and I moved to North Carolina, USA for me to have a research stay at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Durham, North Carolina for the fall 2018.

Funds for local activities 
Your local student representative will send an application on behalf your local student group containing a plan for the upcoming semester together with a budget. Do you have a great idea for an external lecturer or an interesting topic for your group - send them an email:
