Job description

To investigate exosomes that are small vesicles packed with cellular compounds that are secreted by cells. Exosomes can interfere with host immunity and inflammation. Viruses can enclose viral proteins, mRNA and miRNA in exosomes, which may affect recipient cells. 

Understanding the reciprocal interaction between the inflammation process and Merkel cell polyomavirus may allow the design of therapeutic drugs.​
