Research interests
I am a registered nurse, Master of health sciences and PhD of health sciences. I currently work as professor in the Department of health and care sciences. I am chair of the Master's degree program in ageing and geriatric health care. I am chair of the research group Centre for care research north. My research interests are in the intersections of critical gerontology, narrative gerontology, and healthcare service research, and I have a special interest for inequities in health and health care. I am interested in the lives and well-being of older adults in general, and indigenous Sami older adults in particular. My methodological expertise is in qualitative research and narrative studies.
I'm professor II at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
