Job description

Magdalena Haggärde: university lecturer in landscape architecture at the Art Academy, UiT, Tromsø, responsible for Studio 1; Urban Practices at the landscape architecture master programme.

Magdalena Haggärde is architect and partner at 70°N arkitektur in Tromsø, and has through her architectural practice developed experimental and critical approaches to architecture and planning – in an Arctic context, but also concerning general perspectives on landscape and urban development in the light of severe global changes. She has been teaching regularly at Bergen School of Architecture, as a guest professor at Azrieli School of Architecture, Ottawa, Canada, and has been engaged extensively as a lecturer and censor at architecture schools in Scandinavia and Europe.
