ARC workshop on wind energy

The Arctic Centre for Sustainable Energy (ARC) invites students and UiT employees to a workshop on wind energy with invited speaker Finn Gunnar Nielsen 

On March 1, UiT's interdisciplinary centre for sustainable energy, ARC, is hosting a hybrid workshop/seminar on wind energy. The workshop is open to both students and employees, and there will be ample opportunity to ask questions and discuss different aspects of wind energy.

Director of Bergen Offshore Wind Centre at UiB, prof. Finn Gunnar Nielsen, will give a talk about offshore wind power. The rest of the workshop is dedicated to student presentations and dicussions about ARC's current wind energy research and future research projects. Please contact Yngve Birkelund if you are interested in participating and/or contributing to the workshop. 

Tentative program:
- Short presentation of ARC's research activities within wind energy
- Student presentations: ongoing master/PhD projects
- Finn Gunnar Nielsen: Offshore wind power
- Discussion about future research projects/FME

The seminar will be held in the Pharmacy building, room F2.305
