Getting to the workshop

There are frequent commersial flights to Tromsø Airport from several destinations. Both local busses and airport coaches run from the airport to the city center. You can find more information on getting to and from the airport on their website.

The workshop will take place on Campus Breivika (the main campus), which can be reached from the city center with the buses 20, 21 and 34. Some of the busstops have ticket machines, but it may be easier to download the app, Svipper (Google play / App store).

Mazemap links to the rooms on campus will be uploaded closer to the event.

Accommodation

Tromsø is a hot tourist destination, and even outside of the high seasons (winter for the northern lights and summer for the midnight sun), hotels can be quite expensive.  All participants have received booking codes to two hotels. If you wish to get toghether with other participants to acquire cheaper accommodation, you can use the Tablet page for the event.

Getting around

Everything on the campus is in walking distance.

From the campus to down town, you can take the buses 20, 21 and 33. Some of the busstops have ticket machines, but it may be easier to download the app, Svipper (Google play / App store).

On Tuesday evening, all participants are cordially invited to a dinner at Full Steam (location in OpenStreetMap).
