Job description
Advising in assay implementation, assay data interpretation and new applications of antimicrobial and anticancer compounds developed at the Department of Pharmacy, UiT.
As pharmacist I see myself as communicator between different scientific fields with the ability to understand strengths and challenges of disciplines like chemistry, medicine or biology. This is important regarding drug optimization processes, where all three fields are tightly interconnected. My knowledge of different drug application/transport/targeting approaches can already in an early stage help to critically assess optimization processes and developmental strategies.
