Kristin received the CO-WORKER AwardThe nomination for Kristin is uniquely compelling due to the broad, multi-disciplinary support she received. Her nomination was explicitly endorsed by a list of 13 different individuals—including administrative, technical, and scientific leaders—highlighting her career-long role as a cornerstone of her department as she prepares for retirement.
   
Gry Evjen

Senior engineer at the Autophagy Research Group

Gry received the CO-WORKER AwardGry is frequently described in highly metaphorical terms as the emotional heart of the Autophagy Research Group. The "Glue" and the "Sun": Her colleagues refer to her as the "glue that holds the lab together" and simply as "the sun". She is noted for "lighting up the room" and bringing laughter to the workplace every day. Technical and Social Support: She is the primary point of contact for any question in the lab, always knowing what to do or where to go. She is praised for being "the most driftig" (driven/active) and for being "nice to everyone" while maintaining a supportive working environment.
 
Kajangi Gnanachandran 

Postdoctoral fellow at the Vascular Biology Research Group

Kajangi received the CO-WORKER award, sponsored by PYRO (Postdoctoral and Young Research Organization). Kajangi was referred to as the "sunshine of the team," she is nominated for her optimism, resilience, and willingness to assist students and visiting lab members.
