Iveta Novakovais working as a researcher at the Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology at The Arctic University of Norway. She is the project manager of DeConcrete for UiT The Arctic University of Norway. She received her BE degree, MS and Ph.D. degree from Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. She participated in several study and research internships at various universities across Europe and has two years of work experience at the Innovation center Iceland. Here current research focuses on demolition processes, recycling techniques for concrete debris, RCA as a replacement of NA in concrete. Furthermore, fibre-reinforced concrete, basalt fibers as a possible replacement of steel fibres, fire resistance of concrete, eco-crete with low cement content, rheological properties of fresh cementitious materials,
 
Boy-Arne Buyle is senior lecturer and leader of a concrete and environmental laboratory at the Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. His primary focus is on implementation and interconnection of research activities with the building industry, mainly concrete production, the use and quality control. He is an expert in the field of concrete technology and practical issues connected with the handling of fresh, treatment of early age and hardened concrete. Furthermore, he intensively works on new techniques for the education of building industry employees and actively cooperates with Tekna – The Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals.
 
Václav Venkrbec holds a Ph.D. from the Brno University of Technology. He is an assistant professor and secretary for science and research at the Institute of Technology, Mechanisation and Construction Management. From 2022 he is a researcher at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology. His research interests include digitalisation and sustainability in construction, in particular the implementation of recycled concrete aggregates in concrete production, the circular economy, zero waste principles and the life cycle of buildings. He is currently working on the implementation of BIM in construction management with smart sensors and IoT elements. In 2015 he co-founded the Czech Journal of Civil Engineering, where he is the editor-in-chief. In practice, he deals with construction preparation and management of private sector construction projects, including technical supervision of construction, scheduling and resource management.
