From 28 until 30 August a delegation from UiT participated at ECOGIV (Ecosystem-based management of coastal resources.)’s 2nd Annual Meeting in Indonesia. IPB University was the host university of the meeting, which specializes in bioscience and marine and agricultural research. Delegates from Nha Trang University in Vietnam and the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana also participated at the 2nd Annual Meeting. The abovementioned universities cooperate through ECOGIV to offer PhD education to future researchers who would like to work in the field marine economy and ecosystems. In this context, UiT is responsible for providing guidance regarding the quality of the PhD education.
